BABYBEARD es un grupo idol pop metal conformado por el cantante metal y luchador profesional australiano que siempre luce kawaii, Ladybeard, y las idols japonesas KOTOMI y SUZU.
KOTOMI y SUZU llegaron al grupo luego de ser elegidas en una audición que se llevó a cabo en todo Japón durante el 2020.
La música es pegajosa y llena de energía, además que combina las dulces voces femeninas y los poderosos gritos del heavy metal.
Shows tiernos y canciones llenas de energía
Las canciones debut “NIPPON KARA KONNICHIWA” y “PIENNIZER” fueron escritas por los genios musicales Takashi Asano y Natsumi Tadano, los compositores detrás del éxito de “Nippon Manju” (2015) que llevó a Ladybeard a la fama en todo el mundo y tiene más de 30 millones de visitas.
BABYBEARD dijo en una entrevista con Otaku Press que las nuevas canciones harán sonreír y darán esperanza a los fans durante estos tiempos difíciles por la pandemia del covid-19.
“NIPPON KARA KONNICHIWA” es una forma de decir ¡Hola! desde Japón al mundo, dijo KOTOMI. En este momento no es posible interactuar en persona con los fans, pero con esta canción, el grupo comparte lo mejor de Japón, añadió.
SUZU explicó que “PIENNIZER” se basa en el emoji japonés, Pien, una carita con ojos grandes que parece que está a punto de llorar. Incluso si pasa algo malo, no te estreses, porque mañana será otro día y todo estará bien, es el mensaje de esta canción, señaló la idol japonesa.
